NOF will organize the 2nd IADR NOF Baltic Meeting in Oral Health Science & Technology in beautiful Tartu, Estonia, on January 17, 2025.The program is as follows:

9.15-10.00 Implant surface treatments – rocky road from laboratory to industrial use, Prof. Timo Närhi (University of Turku, Finland)
10.00-10.45 Molecular biomarker research in periodontology, Prof. Ulvi Gürsoy (University of Turku, Finland)
10.45-11.15 Coffee break
11.15-12.00 Estonian Biobank supporting population-based genetic studies and implementation of personalized medicine, Prof. Neeme Tõnisson (University of Tartu, Estonia)
12.00-12.45 The Baltic Cleft Network -experience of multicenter clinical studies in cleft lip and palate treatment, Prof. Ilze Akota (Riga Stradins University, Latvia)
12.45-14.00 Lunch
14.00-16.00 Young researchers’ presentations
16.00-18.00 Social program. Visiting the main building of Tartu University and The University of Tartu Museum
19.00- Dinner and get-together at restaurant Ülikooli kohvik.
Program is open only to NOF members and NOF student members will register to the program free. It is expected that participants will arrange their accommodation and travel by themselves.
Registration (incl. lunch, coffee and dinner), travel (economy) and accommodation (2 nights with max 200€) costs will be reimbursed by NOF for up to 4 NOF student members of each NOF country. It is expected that participants will arrange their accommodation and their travel themselves and apply for reimbursement after the meeting. Participants must be IADR NOF member in 2025 to get reimbursed and priority in reimbursements will be given for those who present their research. As reimbursement options are limited, first comes first served.
Non-student NOF members may attend with a registration cost of 150€ (incl. lunch, coffee and dinner. Travel and accommodation are not included).
Registration deadline is December 2, 2024 and the decisions of reimbursement applications will be sent to applicants on December 9, 2024.
