INVITATION TO YOUNG RESEARCHERS

NOF TRAVEL STIPENDS

The Scandinavian division of IADR (NOF) offers travel stipends to young researchers attending the 96th General Session & Exhibition of the IADR in conjunction with the IADR Pan European Regional Congress, London, England, July 25 – 28 2018. Applicants for the NOF travel stipends must submit an abstract for presentation at this meeting. The selection of stipend recipients will be based on a competition for the best abstracts. A scientific committee will be responsible for the selection. The amount of the stipend is SEK 5000.

Application, copy of the abstract and a confirmation letter must be sent to NOF board member Gunhild.Strand@uib.no . Deadline June 1, 2018.

Abstracts without an appropriate confirmation letter will NOT be considered. The letter should explain the applicant’s connection with dental research, and name the supervisor and the institute where the researcher and supervisor are based. If a paper is withdrawn, the stipend will NOT be disbursed. The applicant must be a member of the IADR/NOF. Winners will be informed during summer 2018.

THE NOF HATTON AWARD COMPETITION

Young researchers are invited to enter the Nordic HATTON AWARD COMPETITION. The objective of the award is to encourage and reward outstanding young dental scientists. There will be two Nordic winners in this competition and each will receive a stipend of € 1000 and automatic admission and expenses for travel and accommodation to attend the international HATTON awards competition, to be held at 97th General Session & Exhibition of the IADR in Vancouver, BC, Canada, June 19-22, 2019.

Applicants for the Nordic HATTON AWARD COMPETITION must submit an abstract for presentation at the meeting in London, England. Application, a copy of the abstract and a covering letter must be sent to NOF board member Gunhild.Strand@uib.no. Only members of the IADR /NOF may participate in this competition. (Deadline June 1, 2018).
